Promises. Note to self; if you can’t keep your promises, then, don’t promise anyone anything. This goes to everyone else too. Promising someone that you won’t ever leave them is just bullshit. Because believe it or not, sooner or later, we will leave the ones we love. Its either, they’ll leave us (die) first or otherwise. Leaving someone for a reason is somehow forgivable. But if you leave someone just because you got bored or you found out that they’re not as good as you thought they’d be, then that’s just plain mean. But in my opinion, it’s better to let go of someone if you just don’t ‘feel’ it anymore. So, it will hurt less. The longer you drag this on, the harder it will get. Wait, no, it depends really. Different people, different opinion. So, I can’t really say anything. Besides that, don’t promise anyone that you’ll be there for them through thick and thin because you just can’t. As years pass by, you’ll grow into something that you would never think you’d grow into. You’ll get into college, meet new friends there and you’ll forget about your old ones. I mean, not really ‘forget’ but you’ll somehow care less about them. Perfect example, your primary school best friends. You don’t really care about them now as much as you used to right? Yes, they’re still your friends but you were never really there for them. And yeah, your past relationships. I bet you promised that you’ll never leave each other and promised that you guys would love each other until forever ends. Sadly, it didn’t work out and you guys broke up. The worst part is that, you guys are not even talking to each other. You guys are more like strangers now. Am I right? Because that’s the exact situation that’s happening to me right now. What I am trying to say here is that, stop promising something that you can’t be able to keep. Things like this tend to crush your soul at the very end. Note to self again, try to avoid making silly promises. Besides, we’re still young. Long way to go.
